Edward Rices lucid depictions
of American architecture have won him a wide circle of appreciators.
His work is
included in the collections of many Southern museums
including The Georgia Museum of Art, The South Carolina State Museum,
The Morris Museum of Art, The Gibbes Museum of Art and The Ogden
Museum of Southern Art. Rice is a recipient of a South Carolina
Arts Commission Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts/Southern
Arts Federation Regional Fellowship. Rices paintings have
been exhibited at Babcock Galleries, New York; Gerald Peters Gallery,
Santa Fe; Marguerite Oestreicher Fine Arts, New Orleans; and Heath
Gallery, Atlanta. This is the artists first Atlanta exhibition
in fifteen years.
